Empowering Ramirez: Advocacy at Every Step.

Ramirez PTA is actively advocating against the proposed pairing and closure of several elementary schools in Lubbock ISD, including Ramirez Elementary. Join us in our efforts to protect these schools and support local families. Follow our call to action and stay updated on how you can help make a difference.

Save Ramirez Elementary

After the FFC meeting on October 29th, Ramirez PTA learned that our school was seemingly taken off the table for consolidation in Phase One. While we are proud of our efforts thus far; we also remain cautiously optimistic moving forward, and are committing to remaining vigilant in our advocacy campaign until we have confirmation from the school board, and have learned more about phase 2. We still urge everyone to continue to advocate for Ramirez, as well as the many other schools facing closure. Thank you to everyone who has advocated for us so far! We wanted to be heard, and we were. We remain committed to keeping up the momentum and hope you do too!

We will be heard, and we will organize, advocate, lobby, and innovate to ensure our children are able to continue to receive the incredible IB and Spanish Immersion education we have so carefully chosen for them.  As a PTA Board, our hope is that you will stay at Ramirez and in LISD and continue to fight for our students and teachers.
